<\/a><\/p>\nTo begin you’ll need two pairs of jeans (if you want a fuller skirt boot cut jeans work well) the size that you want your skirt.<\/p>\n
To begin rip out the inside seem of both<\/em> pair of pants:<\/p>\n Now take \u00a0the \u00a0first<\/em> pair of jeans and cut the legs off right below the pockets:<\/p>\n With the second<\/em> pair of jeans\u00a0rip-out\u00a0the front and back seam part way up<\/em>:<\/p>\n <\/a> Take one of the leg pieces from the first <\/em>pair of jeans and tuck it inside the second<\/em> pair of jeans like this:<\/p>\n Turn the raw edge of the second<\/em> pair of jeans to the inside of the skirt:<\/p>\n Line up the hem line of \u00a0the\u00a0second<\/em> pair of jeans and leg piece from the first<\/em> pair and pin it in place:<\/p>\n <\/a>Pin the middle back seam of the\u00a0second<\/em> pair of jeans to the middle seam of the legs piece from the first<\/em> pair of jeans:<\/p>\n <\/a> When pinned the the inside of the skirt should look like this:<\/p>\n Next sew very closely to the folded edge on the outside of the second <\/em>jeans:<\/p>\n It should look like this when it is sewn:<\/p>\n Next turn the skirt inside out and trim off the excess fabric near the seam:<\/p>\n Follow the same steps for the front of the skirt:<\/p>\n Finally hem the skirt to the desired length:<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>
\nMake sure that the edge lies smoothly then pin the rest of it in place like so:<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Once both sides of the skirt are finished trim off the hem edge of the skirt:<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
